The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(3) of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994[^f00001] and paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974[^f00002] and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and interpretation

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Airports (1994 Order) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 1995.
- (2) In this Order “the Order” means the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994.
Appointed day

The day appointed for the coming into operation of each provision of the Order which is specified in the Schedule shall be 1st September 1995.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order brings into operation on 1st September 1995 all the provisions of the Airports (Northern Ireland) Order 1994 which were not brought into operation by virtue of Article 1(2) of that Order.
