The Department of Health and Social Services, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 1995[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and interpretation

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Jobseekers (1995 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996.
- (2) In this Order, “the Order” means the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 1995.
Appointed Day

The day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of Schedule 2 to the Order specified in the Schedule, and Article 40(1) of the Order in so far as it relates to those provisions, is 17th July 1996.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This, the third Order commencing provisions of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 (“the Order”), provides for the coming into operation on 17th July 1996 of certain provisions in Schedule 2 which make consequential amendments to the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 (c. 8).
