Temporary Speed Limit (Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast) (Continuation) (Revocation) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996

Coming into operation: 3rd April 1996
The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 51(5) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981[^f00001] and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Temporary Speed Limit (Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast) (Continuation) (Revocation) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 3rd April 1996.
Revocation of speed limit

The Temporary Speed Limit (Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast) (Continuation) Order (Northern Ireland) 1995[^f00002] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order removes the temporary 30 miles per hour speed limit restriction on both carriageways of Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast, from a point approximately 300 metres east of its junction with Dee Street to a point approximately 300 metres east of its junction with Connsbank Road, and removes the 40 miles per hour speed limit restriction on the eastbound carriageway of Sydenham By-Pass, Route A2, Belfast, from a point approximately 230 metres west of its junction with Dee Street to a point approximately 300 metres east of that junction.
