One-Way Traffic (Ballymena) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996
Made: 26th February 1996
Coming into operation: 13th May 1996
NOW THEREFORE the Department, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 21(1) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the One-Way Traffic (Ballymena) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 13th May 1996.
Amendment
2
The Schedule to the One-Way Traffic (Ballymena) Order (Northern Ireland) 1982[^f00002] shall be amended by the addition thereto of the following items—

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order amends the provisions of the One-Way Traffic (Ballymena) Order (Northern Ireland) 1982.
The amendment provides for the introduction of a one-way system of traffic in—
- (a) Henry Street, from its junction with Queen Street to its junction with Gilmore Street; and
- (b) Queen Street, from its junction with Gilmore Street to its junction with Henry Street.
Any person who acts in contravention of the Order shall be guilty of an offence under the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale (£1,000).
Traffic signs indicating the effect of the Order will in due course be erected on the roads.
