Made: 30th December 1996

Coming into operation: 9th February 1997

NOW THEREFORE the Department, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 21(1) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Urban Clearways (Londonderry) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 9th February 1997.

Amendment

The Schedule to the Urban Clearways (Londonderry) Order (Northern Ireland) 1986[^f00002] shall be amended by—

Column 1 Column 2 Column 3
Shipquay Place (from its junction with Shipquay Gate to its junction with Whittaker Street)— both sides 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order further amends the Urban Clearways (Londonderry) Order (Northern Ireland) 1986 by deleting the items relating to Custom House Street, Waterloo Place and William Street and reducing the extent of the item relating to Shipquay Place, Londonderry.
