The Department of Finance and Personnel, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Business Tenancies (Northern Ireland) Order 1996[^f00001], paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974[^f00002] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Business Tenancies (1996 Order) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997.

Appointed day

The Business Tenancies (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Explanatory note
