Coming into operation: 1st July 2000

The Department of Higher and Further Education, Training and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 21 of the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999[^f00001] and now vested in it[^f00002], and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Article 245 of the 1996 Order[^f00005] (restrictions on contracting out) shall apply in relation to these Regulations as if they were contained in that Order.
