Lobster (Conservation of Stocks) (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001

Coming into operation: 7th May 2001
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development[^f00001], in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 124(1) and (2)[^f00002] of the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966[^f00003] and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Lobster (Conservation of Stocks) (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001 and shall come into operation on 7th May 2001.
Revocation

The Lobster (Conservation of Stocks) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997[^f00004] are hereby revoked.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations.)
These Regulations revoke the Lobster (Conservation of Stocks) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 which provided that all berried or sexually mature female lobsters marked with a V notch or mutilated to hide or obliterate a V notch are returned to the sea.
