Coming into operation: 31st March 2003

The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 3(2) of the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1994[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Health and Social Services Trusts (Exercise of Functions) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 and shall come into operation on 31st March 2003.

Amendment of the Health and Social Services Trusts (Exercise of Functions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1994

The Schedule to the Health and Social Services Trusts (Exercise of Functions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1994[^f00002] shall be amended as follows –

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations, which amend the Health and Social Services Trusts (Exercise of Functions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1994, extend the list of Relevant Functions of a Health and Social Services Board to include all functions under the Carers and Direct Payments Act (Northern Ireland) 2002.
