To be laid before Parliament under paragraph 7(3) of the Schedule to the Northern Ireland Act 2000

Coming into operation: 1st July 2004

The Department of Finance and Personnel, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(5) of the Lands Tribunal and Compensation Act (Northern Ireland) 1964[^f00001] and section 18 of the Administrative and Financial Provisions Act (Northern Ireland) 1962[^f00002] and now vested in it[^f00003] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Lands Tribunal (Salaries) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2004.

Revocation

The Lands Tribunal (Salaries) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003[^f00004] is hereby revoked.

Increases in salaries

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order provides for changes in the annual salaries payable to members of the Lands Tribunal for Northern Ireland following recommendations made in the Report of the Review Body on Senior Salaries in 2004 (HMSO CM 6099).

It increases, with retrospective effect from under section 18 of the Administrative and Financial Provisions Act (Northern Ireland) 1962, the annual salary of the President of the Lands Tribunal and all other members of the Tribunal.

Article 2 revokes the Lands Tribunal (Salaries) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003.
