(This note is not part of the Regulations.)

These Regulations amend the Public Service Vehicles (Conditions of Fitness, Equipment and Use) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995 (S.R. 1995 No. 447) (“the 1995 Regulations”) by revoking regulation 46(14)(b) of, and Schedule 6 to, the 1995 Regulations, which provide for a taxi fitted with a taximeter and licensed for public hire to display a plate.

Schedule 6 to the 1995 Regulations was substituted by the Public Service Vehicles (Conditions of Fitness, Equipment and Use) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2000 (S.R. 2000 No. 136), which are also revoked by these Regulations.
