Coming into operation: 1st April 2007

In accordance with Article 10(2) of that Order it has consulted with Health and Social Services Councils and such other persons and bodies as the Department considered appropriate.

Amendment of the relevant establishment orders

(5) The trust shall have, in addition to the chairman, 7 non-executive directors and 5 executive directors.

Amendment of the Belfast Trust Establishment Order

In Article 5(1) of the Belfast Trust Establishment Order (Directors of the trust) for “5” there shall be substituted “7”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order makes amendments to orders under Article 10(1) of the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 establishing Health and Social Services Trusts in order to increase the number of non-executive directors from 5 to 7.
