The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by that section.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Organic Farming Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008 by amending the interpretation of “the Council Regulation” to take account of the introduction of Council Regulation (EEC) No 834/2007 of 28 June 2007, which repeals and replaces Council Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91 from 1 January 2009.
