The Registration of Clubs (Certificate of Registration) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012

Coming into operation: 1st May 2012

The Department for Social Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by Article 6(1) of the Registration of Clubs (Northern Ireland) Order 1996[^f00001] and now vested in it[^f00002].

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Clubs (Certificate of Registration) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st May 2012.

Amendment of the Registration of Clubs (Certificate of Registration) Regulations

In part V of the Schedule to the Registration of Clubs (Certificate of Registration) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997[^f00003] (Endorsement) for “Article 44(1)” substitute “Article 44(1) and (2)”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Registration of Clubs (Certificate of Registration) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 by inserting a reference to Article 44(2) of the Registration of Clubs (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, which provides for the endorsement of penalty points, on a certification of registration issued to clubs by the courts.
