Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Social Fund (Cold Weather Payments) (General) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2012.

In the Schedule to the Social Fund (Cold Weather Payments) (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1988[^f00004] for “St Angelo” substitute “Thomastown”.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Schedule to the Social Fund (Cold Weather Payments) (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1988 consequential upon the closure by the Meteorological Office of the St Angelo weather station and its replacement by the new Thomastown station. The postcode districts linked to the station remain unchanged.
