The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12(1) of the Waste and Contaminated Land (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011[^f00001], makes the following Order:
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Waste and Contaminated Land (Amendment) (2011 Act) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2013.
Appointed day
2
The appointed day for the coming into operation of—
- (a) section 1 (fixed penalty notices for offences under Article 4); and
- (b) section 2 (detention of seized property),
of the Waste and Contaminated Land (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 is 12th March 2013.
