The Attorney General’s Human Rights Guidance (Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service – Support for Victims and Witnesses) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014

Coming into operation: 15th December 2014
The Attorney General, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(3)(c) of that Act, makes the following order:
Citation, commencement and interpretation

- (1) This order may be cited as the Attorney General’s Humans Guidance (Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service – Support for Victims and Witnesses) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014 and shall come into operation on 15th December 2014.
- (2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly[^f00004].
Coming into operation of the guidance

The guidance on international human rights standards in respect of the Department of Justice (functions exercised by the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service in respect of support for victims and witnesses) shall come into operation on the day on which this Order comes into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into operation guidance by the Attorney General for Northern Ireland, pursuant to section 8 of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2004, which was laid before the Assembly on 8th October 2014.
