The Department of the Environment makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59 of the Taxis Act (Northern Ireland) 2008[^f00001].

This Order may be cited as the Taxis (2008 Act) (Commencement No. 4) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015.

- (1) The Taxis (2008 Act) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014[^f00002] is amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).
- (2) In Article 2 (appointed days) omit paragraphs (2) and (3).
- (3) In the Schedule omit Parts 2 and 3.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order amends the Taxis (2008 Act) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014 (S.R. 2014 No. 300 (C. 16)) by omitting Article 2(2) and (3) and Parts 2 and 3 of the Schedule which appoint the days for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Taxis Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 relating to licensing, enforcement and seizure of taxis. The commencement of these provisions has been deferred.
