The Department for Social Development makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 185(1) of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008[^f00001].
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Charities (2008 Act) (Commencement No. 6) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015.
Appointed day
2
The day appointed for the coming into operation of section 65(10)(b) of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 (annual audit or examination of charity accounts), for the purpose only of authorising the making of orders, is 26th October 2015.

(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into operation section 65(10)(b) of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 which allows the Department to amend the list of bodies whose members may examine the accounts of certain lower-income charities.
