Coming into operation
The Department of Justice, with the approval of the Department of Finance and Personnel, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 75(3) of the Firearms (Northern Ireland) Order 2004 (“the 2004 Order”)[^f00001].
Citation, commencement and interpretation

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Firearms (Variation of Fees) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015 and shall come into operation on 22nd February 2016.
- (2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 [^f00002] shall apply to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
Amendment to fees

The current fees specified in the second column of Schedule 6 to the Firearms (Northern Ireland) Order 2004 which are payable in relation to the matters specified in the first column of that Schedule are varied to the revised fees specified in the third column of the Schedule to this Order.
