The Local Government (Community Planning Partners) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016

Coming into operation

In accordance with section 67(3) of that Act, the Department has consulted the bodies specified in this Order, district councils and such other bodies and persons as the Department considers appropriate.

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Community Planning Partners) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016 and shall come into operation on type=start slip=2016-04-01 time=146054286622522nd March 2016type=end slip=2016-04-01 time=1460542866225.

Community planning partners

The bodies and persons specified in the Schedule (the functions of which are exercisable in the district of a council) are the Community Planning Partners of that council.

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive as continued by Article 3 of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1981[^f00002]

The Sports Council for Northern Ireland as continued by Article 3 of the Recreation and Youth Service (Northern Ireland) Order 1986[^f00003]

The Council for Catholic Maintained Schools established under Article 141 of the Education Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 1989[^f00004]

A Health and Social Care Trust established under Article 10 of the Health and Personal Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1991[^f00005], other than the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service Health and Social Services Trust

The Northern Ireland Tourist Board as continued under Article 3 of the Tourism (Northern Ireland) Order 1992[^f00006]

The Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland appointed under section 35 of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000[^f00007]

Invest Northern Ireland established under section 1 of the Industrial Development Act (Northern Ireland) 2002[^f00008]

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service Board established under Article 3 of the Fire and Rescue Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006[^f00009]

The Northern Ireland Library Authority established under section 1 of the Libraries Act (Northern Ireland) 2008[^f00010]

The Regional Health and Social Care Board established under section 7 of the Health and Social Care (Reform) Act (Northern Ireland) 2009

The Regional Agency for Public Health and Social Well-Being established under section 12 of the Health and Social Care (Reform) Act (Northern Ireland) 2009[^f00011]

The Education Authority established under section 1 of the Education Act (Northern Ireland) 2014[^f00012]
