Coming into operation: 4th April 2016

The Department of Finance and Personnel makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 47(1) and (2) of the Births and Deaths Registration (Northern Ireland) Order 1976 , Articles 3(3)(b), 19(1)(a), 35(3), 36(1)(b) and (3) and 37 of the Marriage (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 , and Section 157(1) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004 .

Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This order may be cited as the General Register Office (Fees) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016 and shall come into operation on 4th April 2016.

(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.

Fees payable

The fee payable under a statutory provision specified in column 1 of the Schedule in respect of the matter specified in relation to it in column 2 shall be the fee specified in relation to it in column 3.

Revocation

The General Register Office (Fees) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014(e) is hereby revoked.
