The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs being a Department designated[^f00001] for the purposes of the European Communities Act 1972[^f00002] in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Union makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of that Act.
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Seed Marketing (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 and come into operation on 27th December 2020.
Amendment of the Seed Marketing (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020

In regulation 1 of the Seed Marketing (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020[^f00003], for “come into operation” until the end, substitute “come into operation on 28th December 2020.”.
