Coming into operation in accordance with regulation 1

The Department for Infrastructure[^f00001] in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of, and paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 2 and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018[^f00002], makes the following Regulations.

Citation commencement and interpretation

• (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 (Public Service Obligations in Transport) (Amendment) (EU Exit) (Northern Ireland) (Revocation) Regulations 2020 and come into operation immediately before IP completion day.

• (2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(c) applies to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Revocation of Regulations

The Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 (Public Service Obligations in Transport) (Amendment) (EU Exit) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2020(d) are revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations revoke the Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 (Public Service Obligations in Transport) (Amendment) (EU Exit) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2020 S.R. 2020/252 as Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 is not retained EU Law for Northern Ireland.
