The Northern Ireland Police Fund (Amendment) Regulations 2021
Made: 15th July 2021
Coming into operation: 10th August 2021
The Department of Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(2) of the Financial Provisions Act (Northern Ireland) 2014[^f00001], makes the following Regulations.
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Northern Ireland Police Fund (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and shall come into operation on 10th August 2021.
Interpretation

In these Regulations “the Board” means the Board of members of the Northern Ireland Police Fund.
Procedures

- (1) In the Northern Ireland Police Fund Regulations 2016[^f00002], existing regulation 6 (procedures) shall become regulation 6(1).
- (2) After regulation 6(1) insert—
(2) Those procedures may provide for the discharge, under the general direction of the Board, of any of the Board’s functions by a committee of the Board or by one or more of the members of the Board or of its staff.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Northern Ireland Police Fund Regulations 2016 (S.R. 2016 No. 14) to provide that the Board of the Fund may delegate any of its functions to a Committee of the Board or to one or more of the members of the Board or to its staff.
