Coming into operation: 1st October 2021

The Department for Infrastructure makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 27(5) and 247(1) and (6) of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011[^f00001] and now vested in it[^f00002].

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Planning (Development Management) (Temporary Modifications) (Coronavirus) (Amendment No.2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2021.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the temporary modifications to the Planning (Development Management) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 (S.R. 2015 No. 71).

Regulation 2 amends the Planning (Development Management) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 to amend the “emergency period” end date to 31st March 2022.
