Coming into operation

The Department of Finance makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 3(4) and (7) of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order[^f00001] and now vested in it[^f00002].

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Victims of Crime Commissioner Designate) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022, shall come into operation on 1 April 2022 and have effect from 1 April 2022.

Addition to list of offices

There shall be added to the list of offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, the office of Victims of Crime Commissioner Designate[^f00003].

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order adds the office of Victims of Crime Commissioner Designate to the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, for which the Department of Finance may make pension schemes. It has effect from 1st April 2022.
