Coming into operation: 1st October 2023

The Department for Infrastructure[^f00001] makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 61(6), 62, 75(8), 81(8) and (9) and 110(2) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1995[^f00002] and now vested in it[^f00003].

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Testing (Amendment) (Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2023 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2023.

Amendment of the Motor Vehicle Testing Regulations

For Schedule 1 to the Motor Vehicle Testing Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003[^f00004], substitute—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Motor Vehicle Testing Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 by increasing most of the fees payable for examinations, re-examinations and appeals as follows—
