Coming into operation: 1st June 2023

In accordance with sections 89(2) and 127 of that Act, the Department has consulted councils and such associations or bodies representative of councils, such associations or bodies representative of officers of councils and such other persons or bodies as appear to the Department to be appropriate.

Citation and commencement

This Order shall be cited as the Local Government (Performance Indicators and Standards) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2023.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Local Government (Performance Indicators and Standards) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015 by updating Schedules 1 (economic development indicators) and 2 (economic development standards).
