The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 32(2) of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers (Scotland) Act 2000[^f00001], hereby make the following Order:

29th September 2000 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the Act.

This Order appoints 29th September 2000 as the day for the coming into force of all the provisions of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers (Scotland) Act 2000 (asp 11).
