The Local Statutory Provisions (Postponement from Repeal) (Scotland) Order 2000

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(6)(b) of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994[^f00001], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Statutory Provisions (Postponement from Repeal) (Scotland) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 28th December 2000.

Provisions

The date on which the local statutory provisions described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to have effect is hereby postponed from 31st December 2000 until 31st December 2001[^f00002].

• The Banff and Buchan District Licensing Board for the Eastern Licensing Division Byelaws 1978.

• The Licensing Board for the Uist and Barra Division of the Western Isles Islands Area Byelaws 1978.

• The Midlothian District Licensing Board Byelaws 1977.

• The North East Fife District Licensing Board Byelaws 1990.

• The Renfrew District Licensing Board Byelaws 1980

• The Renfrew District Licensing Board Stripper Byelaws 1986.

• The Ross and Cromarty Licensing Board Byelaws 1984[^f00003].

• Amendment to the Ross and Cromarty Licensing Board Byelaws 1988.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order postpones the date on which the local statutory provisions listed in the Schedule to the Order shall cease to have effect under section 59(6) of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994. The date is postponed from 31st December 2000 until 31st December 2001.
