The Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 (Devolved Public Bodies) (No. 2) Order 2003

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000[^f00001], and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 (Devolved Public Bodies) (No. 2) Order 2003, and shall come into force on 27th June 2003.

Devolved public bodies

• (1) The Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 shall be amended in accordance with the provisions in paragraph (2).

• (2) In Schedule 3[^f00002] for “Health Education Board for Scotland” substitute “NHS Health Scotland”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order modifies schedule 3 to the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000, which lists those bodies that are a “devolved public body” for the purpose of that Act.

Article 2 of this Order substitutes the reference in schedule 3 to the Health Education Board for Scotland, which has changed its name to NHS Scotland.
