The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 84(2) and (3) of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2001[^f00001], hereby make the following Order:

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Transport (Scotland) Act 2001 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2003.

Commencement of Provision

The remainder of section 73 of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2001, so far as not already in force, shall come into force on 1st January 2004.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on 1st January 2004, those parts of section 73 of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2001, that are not already in force.

Section 73 amends section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 and provides for the inspection of badges displayed on motor vehicles used by disabled persons.
