Coming into force: 22nd February 2007

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2)(a) of the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order, a draft of which has, in accordance with section 18(4) of that Act, been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (Amendment of Specified Authorities) Order 2007 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Amendment of the list of specified authorities

In schedule 2 to the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (the specified authorities) under the heading “Nationalised bodies”–

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends schedule 2 to the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 to–

This Order follows the restructuring of Caledonian MacBrayne Ltd from 1st October 2006 and ensures that the appropriate bodies fall within the remit of the Commissioner for Public Appointments in Scotland.
