The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22(6) and 98(3) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 (Path Orders) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 29th March 2007.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations prescribe the form of path orders made by local authorities under and in accordance with section 22 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003.

The form in which the order should be made, subject to such modifications as the circumstances may require, is set out in the Schedule.

A map contained in a path order must be on a scale of not less than 1:10,000 (regulation 2(2)).
