The Registrar General, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 122(3) and 258(2) and (3) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004[^f00001], and with the approval of the Scottish Ministers in accordance with section 126(3) of that Act, makes the following Regulations:

Form of the Register of Dissolutions of Civil Partnership – electronic copies

In the Registration of Civil Partnerships (Prescription of Forms, Publicisation and Errors) (Scotland) Regulations 2005[^f00002]–

(2) Such extracts may be copies of extracts received in electronic form from the Court of Session or the sheriff court.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the arrangements for the form of the Register of Dissolutions of Civil Partnership held under section 122 of the Civil Partnership Act 2004. They provide that entries in that register held in the form of numbered extract Court of Session or sheriff court decrees may comprise copies of such extracts received in electronic form from the court.

A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on costs to business.
