At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 10th day of June 2009 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Accordingly, Her Majesty is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Fire and Rescue Authorities (Appointment of Chief Inspector) (Scotland) Order 2009 and comes into force on 11th June 2009.

Appointment of Chief Inspector

Brian Duncan Fraser, QFSM is appointed as Chief Inspector of Fire and Rescue Authorities for the purposes of section 43(1)(a) of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005.

This Order appoints Brian Fraser, QFSM as Chief Inspector of Fire and Rescue Authorities under section 43(1)(a) of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005.
