The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section206(2) of the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011[^f00001].

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into force certain provisions of the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011 (“the Act”). Article 2 brings into force on 18thApril 2011 all the provisions of the Act listed in the Schedule to the Order. These provisions relate to the establishment, functions and powers of the new body Children’s Hearings Scotland, and the powers of the Scottish Ministers relating to the National Convener and the new body. This is the second Commencement Order in respect of the Act.
