The Lords of Council and Session, under and by virtue of the powers conferred upon them by section5 of the Court of Session Act 1988[^f00001] and sections120 and 121 of the Legal Services (Scotland) Act 2010[^f00002] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and having consulted the Faculty of Advocates in accordance with the said section121, do hereby enact and declare:

Admission to the office of advocate

Removal from the office of advocate

Professional practice, conduct and discipline

The professional practice, conduct and discipline of advocates are to be regulated by rules made by the Faculty of Advocates.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Act of Sederunt makes provision in consequence of the enactment of Chapter2 of Part4 of the Legal Services (Scotland) Act 2010 concerning—
