The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section206(2) of the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011[^f00001].

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into force on 19th September 2012 certain provisions of the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011 (“the Act”). The commencement of these provisions allows for the establishment of area support teams which are committees established by the National Convenor for designated areas to assist the Convenor with her functions under section 6 of the Act (selection of members of children’s hearings).
