Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Road Works (Maintenance) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations2012 and come into force on 30th November 2012.

In regulation4 of the Road Works (Maintenance) (Scotland) Regulations1992[^f00003] omit “in accordance with regulation3 above”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations make an amendment to regulation4 of the Road Works (Maintenance) (Scotland) Regulations 1992 to clarify that regulation4 may apply following any inspection by a road works authority rather than only following an inspection under regulation3 of those Regulations.
