The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and sections 1, 8(1), 8A, 15(3), (4) and (5), 17(1), 23, 35(3) and 83(2) of the Animal Health Act 1981 , and all other powers enabling them to do so .

Citation, commencement and extent

The Export of Horses (Veterinary Examination) Order 1966

authorised veterinary inspector” means a veterinary inspector authorised by the Scottish Ministers to receive notification about the shipment of horses from ports and aerodromes;

The Rabies (Control) Order 1974

authorised veterinary inspector” means a veterinary inspector authorised by the Scottish Ministers to receive information about animals and carcases affected or suspected of being affected with specified diseases;

authorised veterinary inspector” means a veterinary inspector authorised by the Scottish Ministers to receive information about diseased or suspected animals, or the carcases of such animals;
