The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 237(2) of the Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016[^f00001].
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016 (Commencement) Regulations 2016 and come into force on 30th November 2016.
Day appointed
2
30th November 2016 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations bring into force the Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016 on 30th November 2016.
The Bill for the 2016 Act received Royal Assent on 28th April 2016. Sections 225, 226, 228 to 230, 237 and 238 came into force on the following day.
