The Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2016

Made: 10th November 2016

Laid before the Scottish Parliament: 14th November 2016

Coming into force: 13th December 2016

They are satisfied as to the matters mentioned in section 38(5) of that Act.

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2016 and comes into force on 13th December 2016.

Amendment of the list of prescribed conservation bodies

• (1) Part 2 of the schedule of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 2003[^f00002] (conservation bodies prescribed under section 38(4) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003) is amended as follows.

• (2) Insert in the appropriate place according to alphabetical order—

• (a) “Chapelton Community Interest Company”; and

• (b) “Tornagrain Conservation Trust”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 2003 by adding Chapelton Community Interest Company and Tornagrain Conservation Trust to the list of prescribed conservation bodies. Conservation bodies are bodies in favour of whom it is competent to create a conservation burden under section38(1) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003.
