Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Justice of the Peace Courts (Sheriffdom of South Strathclyde, Dumfries and Galloway) etc. Amendment Order 2019 and comes into force on 8 June 2019.

Relocation of the justice of the peace court for the sheriff court district of Airdrie

In column 2 of schedule 1 (establishment of justice of the peace courts) of the Justice of the Peace Courts (Sheriffdom of South Strathclyde, Dumfries and Galloway) etc. Order 2009[^f00002], for “Coatbridge” substitute “Airdrie”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order relocates the justice of the peace court for the sheriff court district of Airdrie from Coatbridge to Airdrie.

Article 2 of the Order amends the Justice of the Peace Courts (Sheriffdom of South Strathclyde, Dumfries and Galloway) etc. Order 2009 to effect this relocation.
