The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(2) of the Fuel Poverty (Targets, Definition and Strategy) (Scotland) Act 2019[^f00001].
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Fuel Poverty (Targets, Definition and Strategy) (Scotland) Act 2019 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations 2019 and come into force on 19 September 2019.
Appointed day
2
The day appointed for the coming into force of sections 1 to 18(2) (excluding section 7(2)(g)) of the Fuel Poverty (Targets, Definition and Strategy) (Scotland) Act 2019 is 19 September 2019.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations commence provisions in the Fuel Poverty (Definition, Targets and Strategy) (Scotland) Act 2019 (“the Act”). Sections 19, 20 and 21 of the Act came into force on 19 July 2019 (the day after Royal Assent).
