The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Homelessness etc. (Scotland) Act 2003[^f00001].
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Homelessness etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (Commencement No.4) Order 2019 and comes into force on 7 November 2019.
Appointed day
2
The day appointed for the coming into force of sections 4[^f00002] (inquiries as to intentional homelessness) and 8 (power to modify section 33 of the 1987 Act) of the Homelessness etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 is 7 November 2019.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force sections 4 and 8 of the Homelessness etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 on 7November 2019. The Bill for that Act received Royal Assent on 9 April 2003 and sections 13 and 14 came into force on that day.
