The National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Amendment Order 2020

Made: 30th March 2020

Coming into force: 1st April 2020

In accordance with section 52(3) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, the Scottish Parliament.

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Amendment Order 2020 and comes into force on 1 April 2020.

Amendments to the National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Order 2006

• (1) The National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Order 2006[^f00002] is amended as follows.

• (2) At the end of article 12(2B)(j) insert—

; (k) for the financial year beginning on 1 April 2020 £226,100,000.

• (3) In article 12(2D)—

• (a) at the end of paragraph (f) omit “and”,

• (b) at the end of paragraph (g) insert—

; (h) 55.9% for the financial year beginning on 1 April 2020.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends article 12 of the National Bus Travel Concession Scheme for Older and Disabled Persons (Scotland) Order 2006 to set the capped level of funding and the reimbursement rate for the financial year 2020/21 (article 2).
