The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(2) of the South of Scotland Enterprise Act 2019[^f00001] and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the South of Scotland Enterprise (Transfer of Property and Liabilities) (Scotland) Regulations 2020 and come into force on 1 June 2020.

In these Regulations—

The transferring property and liabilities of Scottish Enterprise for the purposes of section 20(2) of the South of Scotland Enterprise Act 2019 are—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations identify, for the purposes of section 20(2) of the South of Scotland Enterprise Act 2019, the transferring property and liabilities of Scottish Enterprise. Section 20(1) of that Act provides that the transferring property and liabilities of Scottish Enterprise are transferred to South of Scotland Enterprise. The appointed day for coming into force of section 20(1) is 1 June 2020, by virtue of S.S.I. 2019/308, as amended by S.S.I. 2020/85.
