The Scottish National Investment Bank p.l.c. (Miscellaneous Listings) Order 2020

Coming into force: 26th November 2020

In accordance with section 96(4) of the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009[^f00004] and section 210(2) of the Equality Act 2010 a draft of this Order has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, the Scottish Parliament.

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Scottish National Investment Bank p.l.c. (Miscellaneous Listings) Order 2020 and comes into force on 26 November 2020.

Equality Act 2010

• (1) The Equality Act 2010 is amended in accordance with paragraph (2).

• (2) In Part 3 of schedule 19 (public authorities: relevant Scottish authorities)[^f00005], at the end insert—

• (1) The Climate Change (Duties of Public Bodies: Reporting Requirements) (Scotland) Order 2015[^f00006] is amended in accordance with paragraph (2).

• (2) In schedule 1 (listed bodies), at the end insert—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order makes amendments to the Equality Act 2010 (“the 2010 Act”) and the Climate Change (Duties of Public Bodies: Reporting Requirements) (Scotland) Order 2015 (“the 2015 Order”).

Article 2 adds the Scottish National Investment Bank p.l.c to Part 3 of schedule 19 of the 2010 Act, which lists Scottish public authorities required to comply with the public sector equality duty.

Article 3 adds the Scottish National Investment Bank p.l.c. to schedule 1 of the 2015 Order, which lists bodies which are subject to the reporting requirements in that Order.
